A yet – to – be identified bank customer has slumped and died following exhaustion after standing in a queue for hours at a bank in Agbor, the Headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Daily Crucible gathered that the man died after waiting for hours to collect his Automated Teller Machine card at the bank.
It was learnt that others in the queue tried to revive him but failed. The incident happened on Friday.
However, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, has confirmed the unfortunate occurrence, saying, “The man was not trying to withdraw cash; he only came to collect his ATM card.”
