The Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth. has congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan, urging them to use the period of Eid-el-Fitr celebration to promote peaceful co-existence, show of love and tolerance.
Oyesanya, in a statement made available to newsmen said “Muslims should be guided by the spirit of the period of total abstinence, keeping away from vices in all ramifications and imbibing the teachings and pious lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Muhammad guided by the Holy Qur’an and Hadith.”
She urged Muslim faithful to continue to pray for peace, unity and stability of Ijebu East Local Government in particular and Ogun State in general for continuous progress, growth and development.
Hon. Oyesanya also reiterated her administration’s commitment to the welfare of the good people of Ijebu East Local Government and assured that she will do her best to deliver dividend of democracy by completing all ongoing projects.
