The Kaduna State Governor, Dr. Uba Sani, has commissioned a community centre in Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government Area of the state as part of his administration’s efforts towards providing facilities that promote the well-being and development of the people.
The state-of-the-art facility will provide a safe and supportive environment for the youth and members of the community to access various services, including drugs rehabilitation programmes, life skills training, vocational training, recreational activities and counseling services.
At the commissioning that had in attendance, traditional rulers, Sabon Tasha Community leaders and government officials, Hon. Musa Ahmed Magaji (Mubama Ikon Allah), who represented Governor Sani said the facility was another commitment to the welfare and development of the good people of Chikun and the State at large.
Magaji, who is the President, Uba Sani Vanguard Kaduna State, added that the project was a great support to fulfilling the Governor’s promise to provide facilities that promote the well-being and development of the good people of the state.
He commended the people of Sabon Tasha for support and cooperation that ensured the success of the project, urging them to make good use of it.
He said, “The Sabon Tasha Community Center, Drugs Rehabilitation and Life Skills Centre is a state-of-the-art facility designed by a Pastors in Sabon Tasha to provide a safe and supportive environment for the youth and members of the community to access various services, including:drugs rehabilitation programmes, life skills training, vocational training, recreational activities and counseling services.
“This project is a great support to fulfilling the Governor’s promise to provide facilities that promote the well-being and development of the good people of Kaduna State.
“I am delighted to commission this Community Center, Drugs Rehabilitation and Life Skills Centre, as a testament to our government’s commitment to the welfare and development of our people. I am grateful to the people of Sabon Tasha for their patience and cooperation in making this project a reality.
“I urge all citizens to make good use of this facility and to continuing supporting our government’s efforts to provide facilities that promote the well-being and development of our people.”
