A group of youths and women in Bayelsa State has expressed readiness to work with Honourable Joseph Ebodei in a fresh grassroots mobilisation effort ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The mobilisation is aimed at strengthening political engagement in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, while also encouraging cooperation with the administration of Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, on peace and development.
Ebodei, the National Coordinator of Niger Delta Supporters for Tinubu 2027, said his organisation was committed to expanding grassroots engagement across the Niger Delta and other parts of the country ahead of the next general elections.
The group seeks to mobilise supporters, encourage participation in the democratic process and build community-level engagement around its political objectives.
Speaking on the development, Ebodei called on Bayelsans to support initiatives aimed at promoting peace, stability and infrastructural development in the state.
He stressed that constructive engagement among political stakeholders and the state government could help create an environment conducive to investment, economic growth and improved development outcomes.
Ebodei, who said he had built a network of supporters and youths across Bayelsa and other parts of the Niger Delta, also underscored the importance of sustaining peace in the region.
He urged residents to remain committed to peaceful coexistence and support initiatives focused on security, development and expanded economic opportunities.
According to him, collaboration among stakeholders could provide opportunities to advance the interests of Bayelsa State while strengthening political participation ahead of the 2027 elections.
He also called on APC stakeholders, youths, women and supporters across the Niger Delta to intensify community engagement and promote peaceful democratic participation.
Ebodei expressed confidence that sustained grassroots outreach would encourage more citizens to participate in political activities and discussions ahead of the polls.
He assured supporters that Niger Delta Supporters for Tinubu 2027 would continue its mobilisation efforts across Bayelsa State and the wider Niger Delta region as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
