Again, livid actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has lashed out at a troll who took to social media to mock her over marriage.
Nkechi Blessing who is still hurting from recent body – shaming by trolls after a yet – to – be – identified lady stealthily photographed her during a gym session and leaked it, has now found herself again in the hands of trolls, this time, being marriage – shamed .
The actress said that being a public figure does not give anyone the right to attack her personal life.
In a video shared on Instagram, she queried the rational behind people feeling entitled to comment on or pry into her marital status, wondering if being a celebrity is a gateway for others to intrude into her privacy.
She reminded her followers not to lose sight of the fact that she remains human, like everyone else, with real feelings.
According to her, she does not appreciate being shamed over her age, marital status, or personal choices.
Nkechi revealed that she directly fought back the troll in her DMs, hurling sharp words back and making it clear that she would not be bullied or intimidated into silence or accepting it as normal .
She said: “Nobody sees the trigger, they only see your Reaction. What a world we live in…Like I said, Aura for Aura. Nobody can mess with my mental health, never.”
“Is it okay for someone to come at you unprovoked? Marriage shames you, children shame you. Just like that? Because you are a so-called celebrity. I’ve always said this. I’m not a celebrity, you know. I am human just like you.
“You give me, I give you, and then everybody go dey okay. Then you now run kitikiti–katakata, you were crying because of just one line. But you, you write plenty now. Like I said, I’m not a celebrity. You bring rubbish to me. I give you rubbish back.”
