Eight people have died and fifteen others injured in a bomb explosion that rocked Gwoza Local Government area of Borno State on Saturday.
The Police spokesman in Bornu, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso said the tragic incident occurred on around 03:40 pm on Saturday.

The fatal blast occurred when a woman strapping a baby on her back detonated an Improvised Explosive Device IED at the bustling Mararaba T. Junction motor park in Gwoza town.
She died on the spot with the baby and six others while fifteen injured were evacuated to General Hospital Gwoza for treatment.
