A smartly dressed young lady (a passenger) has sustained cuts on her wrist and left bleeding after shards from splintered glasses fell on her hand.
The graphic picture of the lady whose identity is not possible to ascertain immediately, is trending on the social media. The time and date the incident happened were not stated. The location was also not indicated.
It was said that the injury occurred after a popular Lagos Pastor, Paul Adefarasin, of the House on the Rock, allegedly got angry with the driver of the bus conveying the victim and other passengers, and came down from his car and allegedly smashed the windscreen of the bus.
The impact, it was gathered, sent glass shattering everywhere and injuring the passenger in the process while other panic – stricken passengers ducked or took whatever step they could muster to shield themselves from the flying shards of glass.
It was further learnt that what touched – of the man of God’s rage and the alleged subsequent act of violence, was that the bus hit his car – probably one of those sleek expensive Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
An X user formerly Twitter, Big Belly Kelly@ayoola_kelechi shared the incident on his X handle.
Inside traffic and this bus hit @pauladefarasin car and your esteemed pastor and religious father got down from his car and smashed the window of the bus involved, injuring passengers in the bus and threatening the driver. An unmitigated disgrace. What an experience.
But another X user formerly Twitter, Pastor Okezie A… @nsogbu queried the veracity of the incident,.
He stated, “No pictures or video of Pastor Paul Adefarasin or any of his aides at the scene…..
“Logical thinking should have told you that his aides will step out first before he does and calm the situation
“Pst Paul Adefarasin goes in a convoy of 3 or 4 cars(if I’m correct)..How can a bus enter the convoy and bash his own car then he comes out to smash the glass of the bus???”
The Daily Crucible has tried to reach the man of God for his reaction and this without success but this news medium will keep trying.
