The 104th Inaugural Lecture of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, promises to be an interesting session when Prof. Busurat Oluwakemi Adekola mounts the podium on Tuesday January 10, 2023.
The topic for discourse is titled: “The World Cheats Those Who Cannot Read.”
The inaugural lecture is scheduled to hold at the OGD Lecture Theatre, OOU main campus, Ago-Iwoye, where the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ayodeji O.J. Agboola will preside as Chairman.
According to the University’s Chairman, Academic Ceremonial Committee, Prof. Charles O. Adekoya, the lecture will commence at 2pm.
Prof. Adekola who is wife of the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Dr Bola Adekola, is a notable professor of Language Education.
A member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Prof. Adekola bagged virtually all the specialized certificates in education ranging from NCE up till PhD.
The Inaugural Lecturer also doubles as the University’s Director of OOU Ventures.
