The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission will on Thursday, September 28, 2023, hold a stakeholders’ meeting at Odogbolu Local Government Area in preparation for a Councillor’s Bye-election in Ilado Ward 10.
A release by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu, stated that the meeting became necessary due to the demise of the Ward’s Councillor, Hon. Olufemi Taiwo.
According to the release, electoral guidelines and timetable for the forthcoming bye-election scheduled to be held soon will be unveiled at the meeting.
The release enjoined all political parties and the general public to be punctual at the meeting.
