The perennial hardship rocking the country currently, is indisputably bitting harder on Nigerians. It becomes more interesting when you also see some political elites complain of Naira notes and fuel scarcity. Absolutely incredible!
In one of my pieces, I once made it cleared that “No insane society can bid for sane leaders and vice-vasa. The reason is very simple it is just because leaders are definitely products of that same society.
It is the tradition and usual norms of Nigerians, to blame leaders for any failure or anti-masses policies and development.
However, most of the time, it is not just about the policy makers or political elites but individual aspiring bourgeoisie who are so conscious of enriching themselves to the detriment of their fellow Nigerians, in disguise that government is seemingly responsible for such failure. This is pretty sad!
Quite honestly, I make bold to tell you that the current cash and fuel scarcity in Nigeria, keeps lingering, due to the greed, selfishness and hedonism of some very unpatriotic Nigerians that derive joy or take advantage of their fellow Nigerians.

Some bunch of iniquitous filling stations, have also gravitated to another level, by adopting crafty device of extorting Nigerians. They now form conspiracy with some POS operators as a means of extortions. They take advantage of the cash scarcity and charge customers heavily through their transactions.
For God sake, why are we so wicked and inconsiderate in this country?. We take every slight advantage of the obnoxious and preposterous government policies to further inflict pains on the poor masses. Yet, we are clamouring or looking forward for better Nigeria by hypocritically canvasing and joining the crusade for good Nigeria. Who cursed this country by the way? This is indeed metaphysically metaphysical!
People are now masquerading as masses but crudely making money by extorting others and take advantage of the clueless government in place. Honestly, if God forgives some Nigerians, Nigeria would never forgive some Nigerians.
I close this article by asking you a very honest question and I wish you search your heart to give it a honest answer.
Can we in good conscience say: Nigerians are truly craving for better Nigeria? Or we are just bunch of hypocrites who are best described as “masquerading masses.”
