As Nigeria marks another Independence Day, Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, has called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to remain hopeful about the country’s future and continue investing in its economic potential.
In an Independence Day message titled “A Message of Hope and Prosperity,” Adeyemo said Nigeria’s greatest strength lies in the resilience, talent and entrepreneurial spirit of its people.
He acknowledged the challenges confronting the nation’s economy but maintained that Nigeria possesses enormous untapped potential and that its future offers significant prospects for growth.
According to him, Nigerians in the diaspora remain deeply connected to their homeland, while those living and working in the country continue to contribute to its economic development through their daily efforts.
“Investing in Nigeria is not just a financial decision—it is a powerful act of faith in a nation destined for greatness,” the message stated.
Adeyemo highlighted real estate as an important avenue for wealth creation, urging investors to see property investment not only as a means of securing their financial future but also as a way of contributing to local development.
He reaffirmed Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited’s commitment to delivering value to its clients, stressing that the company’s focus extends beyond the sale of land to the development of communities and infrastructure.
Under what the company describes as the “Pelican Promise,” Adeyemo said Pelican Valley remains committed to building communities, protecting clients’ investments and providing peace of mind through transparency and quality real estate services.
He also reiterated the company’s commitment to what he described as “real estate excellence” and rapid infrastructure delivery, while assuring clients that Pelican Valley would continue working to enhance the value of their investments.
“As Nigeria marches forward into a new era of growth, we promise to keep elevating your investments and turning your real estate dreams into reality,” he said.
The real estate entrepreneur expressed appreciation to the company’s clients for their trust and partnership, particularly Nigerians in the diaspora who continue to invest in the country’s property market.
He concluded the Independence message with a wish for renewed hope in Nigerian homes and greater prosperity for businesses across the country.
He said, “May this Independence Day bring renewed hope to your homes and greater prosperity to your businesses. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”
