Former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has approved a major reorganisation of the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) aimed at strengthening its humanitarian, leadership development and community engagement initiatives across the senatorial district.
The restructuring will see the appointment of Local Government Managers to work alongside an Executive Secretary, who will serve as the administrative head of the foundation, to improve programme coordination and grassroots service delivery.
According to a statement issued by the OGD Media Office, the revamped foundation will place greater emphasis on large-scale empowerment programmes, medical outreach, educational support, youth and women development, as well as other interventions designed to improve the welfare of residents across Ogun East.
As part of the initiative, Daniel also announced plans to expand the Political Leadership Academy (POLA), a non-partisan mentorship platform established to groom emerging political leaders with the values, competence and character needed for effective public service.
The former governor reaffirmed his commitment to mentoring and providing guidance to aspiring leaders while urging associates and supporters to remain dedicated to the ideals of selfless service, democratic participation and sustainable development.
Daniel also commended partners, coordinators, members and supporters of the Gateway Front Foundation for their loyalty and contributions over the past 26 years, noting that their efforts had strengthened grassroots engagement and supported development across Ogun East Senatorial District.
He added that the appointment of the new managers for the reorganised Gateway Front Foundation would be announced in due course.
