A High Court in Abuja has declined the prayer of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Senator Aisha Dahiru-Ahmed popularly known as Binani, seeking hearing on the ex-parte motion she filed before the court.

On the contrary, Justice Inyang Ekwo on Tuesday directed Binani’s lawyer, Mohammed Sheriff, to address the court on whether it possesses the jurisdiction to hear the motion relating to the unfolding supplementary election in Adamawa State.
Justice Ekwo, ordered the lawyer to file a written address in respect of jurisdiction and adjourned till April 26 for the hearing of the ex-parte motion and the applicant’s address.
