Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her deep desire to have a baby girl, saying that raising a daughter would give her a more profound understanding of motherhood.
The actress and mother of two made the revelation during a recent livestream conversation with TikTok personality Jarvis, where she spoke candidly about motherhood, marriage, and her emotional journey as a parent.
According to Daniels, although she has mentally moved on from the idea of marriage, her longing to have a girl child remains very strong.
“The last time I saw my children was last year. I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon,” she said during the livestream.
“But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married, but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child.”
Her statement has since stirred reactions online, with many fans expressing concern and curiosity over her comments about marriage and motherhood.
Some social media users speculated that the actress may be considering having another child outside marriage, though Daniels did not directly address such claims.
The actress also reflected emotionally on being separated from her children, revealing that she has not seen them since last year but remains hopeful of reuniting with them soon.
Regina Daniels’ comments come months after reports emerged that she parted ways with her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, following a widely publicized disagreement in October last year.
Despite the personal challenges, the actress appears focused on her future and her dream of someday welcoming a daughter into her life.
