A presidential aspirant under the platform of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Peter Obi, has reaffirmed that he won the 2023 presidential election, insisting that the outcome declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) did not reflect the actual result as he perceived it.
The ex – governor of Anambra State who reiterated this assertion during on the Naija Unfiltered podcast on Saturday, Obi maintained that his campaign was victorious despite the official declaration.
However, Obi in his characteristic manner could not substantiate on how he arrived at the conclusion that won that election or how the system robbed him of his victory, instead he merely dwelled on repeating the assertion.
“I can show you today, as far as I’m concerned, I have run election for the office of the President of Nigeria and won. But the system decided otherwise and they know it.

Peter Obi contested for the 2023 presidential election under the platform of Labour Party against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress(APC), and ex – Vice President Atiku Abubakar (PDP) and secured a third position with six million votes.
