The Okpe Union, United Kingdom on Sunday lauded Orhue 1, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom for his visionary leadership and maturity
‘’Twenty years on the blessed throne of Okpe Kingdom is a milestone worthy of celebration. Amongst others, it is a celebration of peace, sustainable growth and development that has placed Okpe Kingdom at the centre of Delta State’s economic and social development’’
The union also praised the Delta monarch for positioning the kingdom in an enviable place of pride in Nigeria and beyond.
‘’Two decades of Your Majesty’s reign has positioned our beloved kingdom in an enviable place of pride not onl within the Urhobo Nation and Delta State but in Nigeria and beyond.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of Orodje’s twenty years on the throne, the union described Orhue 1 as a symbol of service, duty and honour.
‘’More than ever before, wherever they may be in the world, Okpe sons and daughters continue to proudly proclaim their cultural pride and unique Okpe identity more so because Your Majesty has epitomized the essence of service, duty and honour which must have been incubated in a long and illustrious military career.
The message highlighted Orodje’s incredible leadership and his military journey all over Nigeria, Africa and worldwide.

The message signed by the President, Okpe Union, United Kingdom, Okakuro Peter Enye, greeted the Orode of Okpe for the many years of service to Okpe Kingdom and the Nigerian State.
‘’By your lead and example, Okpe Kingdom has been greatly lifted and will continue to shine and excel’’
It also announced the hosting of His Royal Majesty in England on September 25, 2027.
‘’Inspired by your guidance of unity and love, Okpe Union UK has resolved to host Your Majesty in England on the 25th of September, 2027. The convention of love and togetherness shall be an opportunity for many Okpe sons and daughters in Britain, Europe and the wider diaspora to witness your physical presence and hear your words of wisdom and harmonious fellowship that has greatly strengthened Okpe Kingdom over the past twenty years’’
Concluding the message, he said ‘’ As Your Majesty celebrates this 20th anniversary, our collective hope and prayers are for your greater successes and longevity. Our confidence is born out of your evident love for your people and unshakable faith in the Almighty God’’
