Music executive and talent manager Ubi Franklin has issued a strong warning to social media users accused of orchestrating a coordinated cyberbullying campaign against Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido.
Franklin, who has played a key role in managing Chioma’s public image over the years, expressed outrage after discovering an alleged group chat where members reportedly gather to share harmful content, insults, and targeted attacks against the mother of two. Describing the situation as deeply disturbing, he said the actions go beyond criticism and amount to deliberate harassment.
Taking to social media, Franklin did not mince words, warning those involved that their anonymity will not protect them. “I have seen the group chat where people have gathered just to hate on Chioma. We are coming for every one of you. You cannot hide behind your phones anymore,” he wrote.
He further stressed that while public figures often face scrutiny, creating organised spaces dedicated to bullying crosses a legal line. According to him, such actions may constitute offences under cybercrime and harassment laws, and he is prepared to escalate the matter.
Franklin added that authorities could soon step in to investigate and identify those behind the group, signaling potential arrests. He described the ongoing attacks on the Adeleke family as “pure evil,” insisting that accountability is necessary to curb toxic online behavior.
The development has sparked conversations around cyberbullying, celebrity privacy, and the growing need for stricter enforcement of digital conduct laws, particularly in cases involving coordinated harassment campaigns.
