Popular TikTok couple, Peller and Jarvis, have officially sealed their union with a court wedding held in Lagos ahead of their much-anticipated traditional and white wedding ceremony scheduled for Saturday, August 1.
The intimate civil ceremony took place on Wednesday, where the couple, dressed in matching white outfits, were pronounced husband and wife by the officiating registrar.
Videos from the ceremony, which have since gone viral on social media, captured the joyous moment as family members and close associates celebrated with the newlyweds.
Speaking after the ceremony, Peller revealed that their main wedding would be streamed live to allow their fans across the world to witness the celebration.
The couple’s wedding preparations have attracted widespread attention since June, when Peller proposed to Jarvis during a romantic beachside outing at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana. Jarvis accepted the proposal amid tears of joy.
A week later, Peller formally paid Jarvis’s bride price during a traditional introduction ceremony in her hometown of Benin City. Sharing moments from the event, he described it as the beginning of their “beautiful journey” and expressed gratitude to both families for their blessings.
