The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Ogun State Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, has advised the youths to take responsibility for their destiny, describing them as agents of today’s emerging advancement that would change the narratives of the nation’s development.
Taiwo gave the advice at the Global Youth Summit held at the Cultural Center Kuto, Abeokuta with the theme “Arise Youth of Purpose.”
Taiwo who was the host of the summit organized by the Royal Grace Outreach Network, noted that the timing of the summit was apt particularly when the creativity and innovation of the young men and women were needed to drive the vision, peace and development of the country.
The Royal Grace Outreach Network is a group of believers based in Atlanta Georgia who are passionate about youths and eager to see them live in God’s will, thrive, fulfill their purpose in life and lead an impactful life in this generation.
Represented by his wife, Deaconess Peace Taiwo, he maintained that the youths are the driving force of transformation and the backbone of the nation’s workforce and innovation, stressing that they must be properly guided and mentored for them to achieve their full potentials.
According to him, the youths’ roles and contributions to nation building must be acknowledged and celebrated.
Speaking on the topic: “Identify Crisis/Who am I” Pastor Joke Solanke from Atlanta Georgia urged the youths to always position themselves in the right place at the right time noting that without encounter, there won’t be identity.
Also speaking at the summit, Barr. Esther Abiodun Faremi, Head, Legal Matters Unit, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, urged the youths to make right choices in both carrier and love, noting that they should always seek God’s guidance and leaders’ advice.
In her contributions, the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Deaconess Peace Taiwo reminded the youths to always see their body as God’s own and preserve it as sacred for God’s purpose in life quoting 1 Corinthians 6:19.
Earlier, in his welcome address Pastor Kayode Oyewunmi urged the youths to arise and take responsibility that would position them today for future challenges.
He also commended Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration for his numerous initiatives and policies aimed at developing the youths in the State.
