The Presidency has announced the sack of Fegho John Umunubo from his role as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President).
A statement on Monday, September 8, by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations at the State House, stated that we Umunubo’s disengagement takes immediate effect.
It also clarified that Umunubo no longer represents the Tinubu administration in any capacity, warning stakeholders and members of the public not to relate with him any further on behalf of the government.
“Anyone who interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own risk,” the statement read in part.
The Presidency urged all stakeholders and constituents in the digital and creative economy sector, both locally and internationally, to take note of the development.
