The leadership of Team–SERVICE, a broad-based coalition of political parties in Ogun State, has announced the appointment of Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel, Chairman of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, in Ogun State, as the Director-General of the Team–SERVICE Campaign Council for the forthcoming 2026 IPAC election.
A statement by Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael, State Chairman, ACCORD Ogun State, and Convener, Team IPAC 2026 Election Campaign, stated that the appointment was communicated in a letter dated Monday, 5th January, 2026, in recognition of his proven leadership capacity, institutional understanding, commitment to service, and reputation for integrity, fairness, and unbiased political engagement. Such ability to coordinate party interests with discipline, balance, and strategic clarity was also cited as a major consideration.
Oke explained that the 2026 IPAC Election, which will also take in all the registered political parties in Ogun State, is considered a turning point for the future leadership, credibility, and performance of the IPAC. In this respect, the TEAM-SERVICE has adopted a platform of renewal, unity, integrity, and transparent leadership, in accordance with the IPAC foundation vision.
He also explained that Director-General Olujobi’s roles will among others, be the Chief Coordinator and Administrative Head of the Team-SERVICE Campaign Council.
According to the Convener, Team IPAC 2026 Election Campaign, his roles also involve providing strategic direction, coordinating activities and committees, achieve inclusiveness and synergy among the participating groups, promote the constitution and the integrity of IPAC, as well as ensuring due process in accordance with the electoral guidelines and the best practices of the institution.
Oke noted that the Team-SERVICE has developed a vision of relocating the image of IPAC to be a revered, transparent, united, and service-oriented institution as it truly represents the parties in Ogun State. The vision of the political coalition is premised on core values of service before self, integrity and accountability, unity in diversity, transparency in leadership, respect for due process, and peaceful political participation.
“If given the responsibility to lead, Team–SERVICE has vowed to restore the dignity and integrity of IPAC, eliminate cabal-led administrations and godfatherism, establish a sound and constitutionally compliant financial management system, and propagate the vision of servant-leadership, which is prudently grounded in humility, inclusivity, and consultative styles. The alliance is also determined to raise IPAC’s media profile and responsiveness.
“Proposed projects include setting up an IPAC library for political education, planned welfare and intervention projects, leadership training and capacity-building projects, promotion of peaceful coexistence among political parties, and initiating candidate engagement platforms, town hall meetings, and public debates in partnership with the media and other stakeholders.
“While commending the appointment, Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael expressed confidence that Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel has all it takes to handle the responsibility with honesty, impartiality, and commitment to collective growth, as encapsulated by the ideals of Service, Inclusion, Responsibility, Credibility, and Excellence.
“Team-SERVICE has reiterated its dedication to offering a leadership that puts others first, since its goal is for IPAC to be repositioned as a strong, credible, and respected democratic institution in Ogun State. And most importantly, the team promised to bring all the political parties together in unity and love, to work for the development of Ogun State,” the statement concluded.
