The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) begins collation of results of the governorship election conducted in Ogun State on Saturday with Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leading in 11 local governments out of the 18 local governments so far collated.
Abiodun’s main challenger, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is leading in 7 local governments while the Senator Ibikunle Amosun backed candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Olubiyi Otegbeye, is yet to win any local government.
There are 20 local governments in Ogun State and results from the remaining Two LGAs are being awaited.
The LGA are Sagamu and Ifo.
Ifo has just been collated with the APC leading. With the Ifo announced, it remains Sagamu to go in.
