The Ogun State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the ceding of the reconstruction of Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta Expressway by the Federal Government to the state government.
At its regular State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday, 17th October, 2023 at the state secretariat, Iyana- Mortuary, Abeokuta, the party congratulated Governor Abiodun for “finally getting the Lagos-Ota
-Abeokuta Expressway ceded to the state government by the federal government after a long haul.”
The meeting also “thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting the long standing request of Mr. Governor; a decision that will bring immense relief to the people of Ogun State and users of the popular Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta Expressway.”
On the victory of the party at the tribunal, the meeting congratulated the governor on the unanimous affirmation of his election by the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, saying it was a divine mandate given by the Ogun electorate.
The meeting equally congratulated the party’s National and State Assembly members whose elections were upheld by the various election petition tribunals and wished them success.
The meeting also congratulated the newly sworn-in Commissioners and Special Advisers and urged them to live up to expectations, while cooperating with the Governor in his ‘building our future together’ agenda.
