The remains of late musician, Aloba Ilerioluwa Mohbad, have been exhumed on Thursday morning, September 21 and evacuated to the hospital in Lagos State where autopsy will commence by the police as directed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Lagos police command on Monday, September 18, inaugurated a 13-man probe panel following the directive of Governor Sanwo-Olu.
The police command along with some health officials commenced the exhumation of the corpse of the singer, so that an autopsy could be carried out.

Since the singer’s death, youths have been staging rallies in parts of the country, demanding justice for him.
Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, was a popular artist who passed away on Tuesday of last week. On Wednesday this week, some teenagers took to the streets of the Panseke neighborhood of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, to protest his passing.
Azeez Faashola, better known as Naira Marley, who owns the record company Marlian Music and signed Mohbad, a prominent singer and rapper, died last Tuesday at the age of 27.
Since the unfortunate event, there has been debate concerning Mohbad’s cause of death.
According to reports, a few names had been cited in connection with the passing of Mohbad, who was born in Ikorodu.
Among them are Samson Balogun, also known as Sam Larry, a music promoter, and Afeez Fashola, the head of his estranged record label and alias Naira Marley.
According to reports, a large group of young people calling for justice for the late musician gathered at the skating ground arena in Abeokuta. They were dressed in all-black and carried signs that read, among other things, #Who off Light and #JusticeForMohbad.
The Lagos State Police Command established a 13-person special investigation team on Monday to look into the real reason for Mohbad’s demise.
The possibility of exhuming the deceased musician’s body for an autopsy was also suggested by the police.
Inaugurating the special investigation team on Monday, Lagos State Commissioner Idowu Owohunwa remarked, “Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. We will identify everyone involved in it (Mohbad’s death), and we will bring them in to determine their level of involvement.k
