Mohbad and I were at an apartment when he suddenly said that the problems he was having with his label made him feel like jumping from the ceiling. His fiancée came to warn us that he was perched at the threshold of his window and was about to plunge to his death. Anything extreme enough to cause someone to try suicide will cause these folks to act in extreme ways when it does…

“What comes around must go around.” These are the exact sentiments of emerging Nigerian rapper Bella Shmurda, who spoke after last week’s death of Mohbad became widely known on social media.
Hip-hop artist Mohbad, whose true name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on Tuesday. Various reports of the events leading up to his death exist, but the cause of death is still unknown. According to one account, he reportedly complained of having an ear issue and was thus rushed to the hospital.
After receiving an injection from an assistant nurse, he is said to have passed away in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Since neither his relatives nor acquaintances have provided information on his death, the claim has not been verified.
He admitted being with the former Marlian Music signee before he passed away, but he said there was no conflict between them. A performance promoter named Sam Larry has also come under fire for allegedly attacking Mohbad in an old video.
Additionally, it was claimed that Mohbad passed away from wounds received during a struggle with Primeboy, a childhood buddy. Primeboy, one of the final people in Ikorodu to see the deceased, came up to refute the claim.
Along with Naira Marley, Sam Larry is being hauled online despite his denial of guilt. Since Mohbad passed away last week, films documenting his struggles and anguish have surfaced, depicting his worries, suffering, and ordeals after quitting Marlian Music.
The dead petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP, over an alleged threat to his life by Sam Larry, whose death opened a can of worms concerning his experiences after quitting Marlian Record in June.
Even though Mohbad has since been buried, his passing has created quite a stir in the entertainment sector because many people feel that his departure was not quite natural.
On Monday, thousands adorned white T – shirts atop jean trousers – and stormed a major road in Lagos, in peaceful protest over the manner of the Singer’s death. The peaceful was coordinated by many notable celebrities and social influencers.
Some suspect he was murdered, while others think he committed suicide due to depression. There are additional claims that Mohbad perished after being exposed to juju, or black magic, powers.
After being freed from National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) imprisonment in 2022 for possessing marijuana and heroin, Mohbad stated in an Instagram live video that his former record company was aware of his arrest.
I don’t understand why these folks despise me, he said. I’ve been the victim of their cruel treatment. I lost my mind over this problem. They are currently trying to kill me. Please lend a hand to me, everyone in the entire planet. If I pass away, please know that Naira Marley and Marlian Music are to blame…
Bella Shmurda made this revelation earlier this year. Shmurda revealed that Mohbad had considered suicide in an interview with Chude Jideonwo in January. Shmurda claims that the late artist struggled with depression once his agreement with Marlian Music came to an end.
Although I don’t want to, I will. Mohbad and I were at an apartment when he suddenly said that the problems he was having with his label made him feel like jumping from the ceiling. His fiancée came to warn us that he was perched at the threshold of his window and was about to plunge to his death. Anything extreme enough to cause someone to try suicide will cause these folks to act in extreme ways when it does…He lamented..
No one has corroborated the claim because neither his family nor acquaintances have provided information about his cause of death..Rest On IMOLE!!!.
