Ahead of the 4th edition of the Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10KM Race, the organisers of the race – Nilayo Sports Management Limited, has announced Febbs Premium Drinking Water as the hydration partner of the competition.
The Chief Operating Officer of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, Mr. Ebidowei Oweifie, who announced this to newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Tuesday, described Febbs Premium Water as a brand that adheres to stringent quality standards to ensure purity and safety of their water for end users.
Oweifie said that quality is a key attribute of consideration for Nilayo Sports across all marathons and road races, stressing that this valuable characteristic makes the partnership with Febbs a perfect symbiosis.

According to him, Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km Race promises to be bigger than the previous ones.
He explained that this year’s edition will also be used to celebrate the revered Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, for being a rich source of inspirations to the Egba people at home and diaspora.
“This edition is also intended to celebrate the birthday of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbedebo, Okukenu IV, the Alake of Egbaland, Alake has been a source of inspiration for Egba home and abroad, we feel it is apt to use this race to commemorate his birthday, he is a unique symbol of unity,” he said.

The Daily Crucible reports that the Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10KM Race is scheduled for 7th of September, 2024.
The race will flag off at the Iyana Oloke Junction and will finish at Ake Palace, Abeokuta.
There will also be water points at strategic locations along the race route for the runners.
