Funeral arrangements for the erudite Communication and media Scholar, Professor Lai Oso begins today with a day of Tribute by the Lagos State University, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, Lagos State University, Ojo 10am.
This is to be followed by a day of Tribute tomorrow by the tertiary institutions in Ogun State offering Mass Communication and professional associations such as the Nigeria Union of Journalists, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, Ogun State Television,friends and associates of the deceased among others to be held at the OGD Hall, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta from 11am to 3:00pm.
Christian wake keep holds on Thursday, 13th July, 2023 ,at Mercy Hall, 14 Bolanle Avenue, along GRA Road, opposite Coca cola depot and back of Prudent Oil, along Sagamu, GRA Road by 4:00pm
Funeral Service will take place at Remo Traditional Council Hall, Aafin Akarigbo, ita- Oba, Sagamu on Friday at 10:00 am, while reception follows immediately.
Prof Lai Oso died on Saturday 24th June in a ghastly motor accident while returning from a trip to Delta State University Abraka, where he had gone to examine some PhD students.
