Olori Ashley, the 4th wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has eulogized her monarch – monarch husband on his 10th coronation anniversary, and prayed for continued wisdom, strength and divine favour of Olodumare upon him as he reign over Ifeland and his people.
In a message shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, Queen Ashley, herself a Princess, poured out her heartfelt love and administration for Ooni’s leadership in the last 10 years, revealing that his kingship had long been foretold by many, including her late father, before Oba Ogunwusi ascended the throne of his forebears
She noted that the last 10 years had been a period marked by grace, wisdom and divine strength, adding that her husband had remained steadfast through challenges and led with “integrity and humility.”
She expressed gratitude to God for sustaining the monarch’s reign and their son, Adémákinwá, saying attempts to “shake our union” had not succeeded.
Queen Ashley also renewed her unwavering support for and eternal devotion to the Ooni, declaring she would continue to support him in the years ahead.

She wrote, “My Dearest Husband, Ooni Agbaye, Olofin Ajalaye, Olori Alade Gbogbo, My King, The One Whose Heart I Hold and Who Holds Mine
“Happy 10th Coronation Anniversary to You, My Love. It feels just like yesterday when my late father, of blessed memory, foresaw what has now become our beautiful reality. Among the many princes, he predicted that you would be the chosen one, the destined heir to ascend the throne and he also foretold that we would walk this divine journey side by side.
“Today, as we mark ten glorious years of your reign upon the throne of our forefathers, my heart overflows with gratitude, joy, and immense pride. I celebrate you, my crown jewel, my confidant, my love, and my king.
“Congratulations, my dearest husband, Olowo Ori Afolasade, on this remarkable milestone your 10th Coronation Anniversary. May your reign continue to flourish in wisdom, grace, and divine favor, as Olodumare continues to guide and bless your path.
