The. Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth, has called on all well to do citizens in the society to invest in women as “they are the bedrock of every nation.”
In her message celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day, Oyesanya said “women’s day is a celebration of our women for their invaluable roles in the progress and development of
the society”.
“I enjoin all the people of the Local Government to invest heavily in the women and girl child as such investment and empowerment will go a long way to encourage them to be self reliant “.
“Our women should no longer play the “second fiddle”, we are created to be great”, stated Hon Oyesanya.
