The marital feud rocking the home of veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has taken a disturbing dimension as Michael Ike, Emeka Ike’s first son, took side in the lingering war of mudslinging between his mother Suzanne Emma and his father.
Michael who took side with his mother after his father threw doubt on her character, said he really hated his father, explaining that was the first thing he uttered when he met his mum.
Emeka Ike had accused his first wife, Suzanne Emma, of several offenses, including saying she lied that he assaulted her. He also accused her of selling off all his properties.
“I trained my wife in the University, I built a house for her, I built for her mother, I changed her life, I gave her my cars to drive anyone she wanted as a rich man’s wife but what did I get in return? I loved who did not love me,” Emeka Ike alleged.
According to the distraught actor, he has lost his school and children as a result of his wife with his feelings bordering despondency.
However, in response to Emeka, Suzanne stated that Emeka was aggressive and nearly paralyzed her after a fierce attack.
Also, in a interview with Chude Jideonwo, Michael Ike, Emeka Ike’s son, claimed that his father’s attitude was so harsh that he came to despise him.
He said: “When I met my mum, the first thing I said was I really hate my father.”
Suzanne confirmed it and added that she had to start working on her son to correct that impression.
Michael also said his father threatened him several times and shared a voice note of one of the threats. In the recording, Ike could be heard shouting at the top of his voice that his son should go and jump in front of a truck and kill himself.
He also accused his father of abusing him and using demoralising words on him.
“My dad is always abus!ng me, saying, you’re doing music, you will never pro$per, I will see you on the side of the road and spit on you, Don Jazzy will never see you. I do not want anything from my father. I am dead to him, I just discovered that I don’t need him and I don’t want anything from him,” Michael said.
