Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has been released from Kuje Custodial Centre after satisfying the bail conditions slammed on him by the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) High Court in Maitama, Abuja.
The Daily Crucible learnt that Bello met the bail conditions on Friday and was asked to go home afterwards.
The ex – Governor will be attending court session in connection with alleged fraud and money laundering allegations from home.
It was further learnt that the Controller of NCoS FCT, Ajibogun Olatubosun, was on ground to ensure Bello’s release after the ex – Governor had satisfied the bail terms.
However, efforts by The Daily Crucible to contact the spokesperson for the Nigerian Correctional Service, FCT Command, Adamu Duza, to confirm Bello’s release of Bello or otherwise, were not successful as of Friday night.
