A 21-year-old butcher, identified as Selim Ayodele, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command over the alleged stabbing to death of his 26-year-old colleague, Ibrahim Wasiu, following a disagreement at their workplace in Alagbole, Ogun State.
The arrest was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni.

The victim was immediately rushed to Life Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. His remains were subsequently deposited at Life Channel Private Mortuary, Lanbe, Ajuwon, for autopsy.
The police said the suspect had been taken into custody as investigations continued ahead of his prosecution.
