Prominent Traditional Ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Adelola Matemilola, has hailed the Boiling Point Arena,
a monthly discourse on governance and national development, describing it as a valuable platform for dialogue, debate and learning in the Nigerian society.
Oba Matemilola described the discourse platform as a testament to the courage, vision, and leadership of its Convener, a media professional, Mr Ayo Arowojolu.
The monarch, in a personally signed congratulatory letter to Arowojolu on the occasion of his 56th birthday, described him as a rare gem, role model and blessing to the country.
Oba Matemilola said that the Boiling Point platform “has fostered informed discussions, viewpoints, and commentaries on important national development issues. It has also created a valuable space for dialogue, debate, and learning in our society”.
He told Arowojolu, “Boiling Point Arena is a testament to your courage, vision, and leadership. You are indeed, a rare gem and a blessing to our nation. Your immense contributions to the media industry, your professionalism, integrity, as well as excellence have set you apart as a role model”.
He lauded Arowojolu’s “unwavering passion, wisdom and generous spirit that have touched the lives of many individuals. As a media professional, educator, and social commentator, you have inspired many people who have followed your journey with admiration and respect.
“I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of your birthday. It is an honor to celebrate with a person who has made a remarkable impact in various fields of endeavour.
“As you celebrate your birthday, I wish you more grace, joy, and peace. I pray that you continue to shine brightly in your future endeavours. May God continue to bless you, keep you in good health and grant you all your heart desires,” Oba Matemilola said.
The next edition of Boiling Point Arena, the 7th in the series, is expected to hold this coming Sunday May 14, 2023 at 8pm via Google Meet and is to be transmitted LIVE on OODUA 99.9FM
