The National President of the All Progressives Congress (APC ) Youth League, Rotarian Olamide Lawal, has commended the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his bold strides in the areas of infrastructural development and security to make life better for the citizens and residents.
Lawal also lauded Uzodinma for being youth – centric and Pan African Youth Governor in governance as evidenced in some of his programmes, urging him not to relent in carrying out projects and policies that would uplift the living standards of people of the state.
Lawal, who served as Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on Youths Affairs, gave the commendations when he visited Owerri, the Imo State capital, where he was received by the State Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu.
While the visit lasted, he also used the occasion to share thoughts with his host on several youth development initiatives being carried out in the State and other areas of common interest, including the appointment of the new State Coordinator for APC Youth League in Imo State, Dr Promise Okolie, as well as mobilising the youths to join the Progressives.
Lawal said, “I commend Senator Hope Uzodinma for being a youth centric, Pan African Youth Governor and for his infrastructural and security drives in the State.
“I will also commend the Commissioner for his zeal and leadership capabilities while appreciating the Governor, His Excellency
“We also used the visit to appoint the new State Coordinator, Dr Promise Okolie who takes over from Comrade Miracle Nwosu.
“In fulfilling our objectives of mobilizing young people into the Progressive fold by promoting our party ideology, policies and encourage active participation in politics, we continue to strive hard to spread the message across nooks and crannies of the Country.”
