A yet – to – be identified young woman has reportedly died of exhaustion while having ‘nice time’ with her boyfriend in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The incident happened at a guest house situated at Temidire community, Offa Garage area of Ilorin on Monday, October 30, The Daily Crucible learnt.
Residents alleged that the man, who owns a barber’s shop, used performance enhancing drugs before meeting his girlfriend and had several rounds with her afterwards but the woman who could no longer withstand it passed out in the process.
The terrified man quickly raised the alarm when he observed that the lady was not responding to gentle calls or by tapping on her body.
Although, workers of the guest house responded to the distress call and rushed the woman to a hospital where she was confirmed dead.
The suspect was immediately arrested after the owner of the guest house reported the incident at the Police ‘A’ Division, Ilorin.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the State Police Command, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the incident on Tuesday, October 31, saying the man had been arrested.
The PPRO said, “The state police command has arrested the man involved while full investigations have commenced to know what actually happened between the man and the deceased.”
