The traditional ruler of Mbiri kingdom, in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta, His Royal Majesty, Ifeanyichukwu Alekwe, has commended Dr. Gabriel Mbadiwe Mabatah for his philanthropic gestures and urged other Ika sons and daughters to emulate his generosity.
Obi Alekwe said that Mabatah’s acts of “kindness and demonstration of love for Ika people will not go unrewarded.”
The monarch spoke when he received in his palace at Mbiri, a delegation from Mabatah, the Emuhu – born United States – based Physician and practicing Pharmacist, who came to felicitate him on his 50th Coronation anniversary which began since Friday.
Speaking earlier, Pharmacist Gabriel Mbadiwe Mabatah, who identified with the revered traditional ruler of Mbiri kingdom on his historic 50th year on the throne, paid homage to him and celebrated the milestones he has recorded so far.
Mabatah is the Founder of Mabatah Gabriel & Francesca (MGF) Foundation, a charity organisation that is touching communities and schools in Ika North and Ika South with free medical outreach and distribution of exercise books.
He lauded His Royal Majesty, Obi Alekwe, for the impressive track record of leading his people in the last 50 years, describing it as both “impactful and an “historic milestone.”
The philanthropist through the spokesperson of the delegation, Isaac Iyadi, an Engineer, described Obi Alekwe as a monarch of peace and an epitome of humility, saying that through humility, he has impacted positively on the development of Mbiri kingdom.
While appreciating God for the life of the monarch, he congratulated the king, for having stood firm as father and urged him to join forces with other royal fathers within Ika Federal constituency of Delta State, to ensure that insecurity in Ika nation becomes a thing of the past.
