All Progressives Congres Youth League in collaboration with other progressive youths across the country has called on the President not to shy away from making himself available for a second term in office
The APC youth league which staged a solidarity walk in the federal capital territory, Abuja, in furtherance of its unwavering support for President Tinubu’s leadership and policies, said thousands of members were unanimous in their support for him.
Tagged “Tinubu Loyalty Walk”, the National president of the APC Youth League, Comrade Olamide Lawal, explained that the president has out-performed his predecessors in his 24 months of governing the nation.
“We have embarked on this journey to showcase our unwavering support for President Tinubu’s vision and policies. The Tinubu Loyalty Walk is a mobilization drive and significant initiative to demonstrate our love to an administration that is committed to youth empowerment and emancipation.
“President Tinubu is a true democrat and that is why we have chosen today -June 12th , to converge in Abuja and show our love for his Youth-friendly policies.
“We have Coordinators of APC Youth League and their members from the 36 states of the federation here in Abuja. They have traveled from their states in a show of Solidarity and loyalty to the party-APC and our president,” he said.
The Tinubu Loyalty Walk which began from the old parade ground terminated at open space adjacent the eagle square where the minister for youth development, Mr Ayodele Olawande, National Youth Leader of APC, Dr Dayo Israel, DG NBTI Mr Kazeem Raji and several other dignitaries also spoke on the essence of the walk.
They emphasised that the president placed a premium priority on youth development and empowerment since assuming office in 2023.
Speakers at the rally highlighted President Tinubu’s policies and initiatives aimed at economic empowerment, leadership inclusion, and sustainable development, including the Student Loan, upgrade of Corps members allowance to 77, 000 per month and many more”
Comrade Olamide Lawal however appreciated all members of the APC Youth League, various support groups as well as corporate and individual sponsors for contributing to the overall success of the event.
” We cannot but appreciate every individual and organisation that took part in this event. The list is indeed endless. We are very grateful.”
“Meanwhile, all state coordinators of the APC have been charged to replicate this event in their various states in no distant time, so that our voices could be heard in all nooks and crannies that we are desirous of President Tinubu’s second term in office”
