Nigeria joins the rest of the world to welcome the New Year with high hopes and expectations on January 1 just as Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye declared that there will be many opportunities for upliftments this year in the country, urging Nigerians to be prepared to grab them.
Adeboye, however, warned that the economic hardship people complained of and experienced last year won’t abate soon in the New Year, stressing that it would even get worse first before the fortune of the nation turns around for the better.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) made this known in his maiden prophecies for Nigeria in the New Year during the Crossover Night Service of the church at the Redemption City in Ogun State to usher the congregation into the much expected 2024.
“I’m not a prophet but a pastor, a true prophet will tell you what you may not like to hear. I will start from Nigeria. It revolves around one little sentence, The wind is blowing. As far as Nigeria is concerned, things will get worse before they get better. You are already complaining that things are hot, it will get a bit hotter before it gets better which interestingly, I heard from those dramatizing even though they didn’t know that the wind is already blowing. You can’t stop it, things will get worse before they get better, people are complaining that things are tough but it will be tougher before it begins to cool, it will get worse before it gets better because the wind is blowing, some serious secret will come to the open.
“Our elders say when the wind blows, you will see the anus of a fowl. I think I better run away from prophecies concerning Nigeria. I don’t mean leaving the country. Don’t lose hope, we can’t japa, we are here. Things will get better in case you are thinking of ‘Japaring. We will survive. Some will start this year with nothing but before the end of the year, they will become significant. Some will start this year as nobody, but before the end of the year they will become significant.
“There will be many opportunities this year, get ready for them. Be prepared to grab them. This is an insider information. When the wind is blowing, some people will build a wall while some will build windmills. Opportunities will come this year, get ready to grab them,” he said.
Adeboye also disclosed that he has a message for the RCCG but said he won’t say it in the open, opting to pass the confidential message later to them through their respective Pastors.
At the international scene, he said there will be divine interventions in flashpoints and crisis – ridden places of the world while few mighty medical breakthroughs for noncommunicable diseases like cancer, asthma and diabetes will also be achieved in the New Year.
“The Almighty Goad assures me that there will be quite a few medical breakthroughs, particularly in the area of incurable diseases like cancer, Asthma, diabetes, and so on,” he said.
