A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ogun state, Hon. Segun Williams, has called on Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu and show understanding regarding the current economic challenges resulting from the oil subsidy removal.
Hon. Williams, a two – time member of the House of Representatives, who was responding to questions from newsmen in Abeokuta at a religious event said President Tinubu is a highly resourceful leader with adequate ability to resolve the socioeconomic challenges facing the Nation.
He said, “There is no doubt that the initial challenges could be tough the goal of sufficiency, improved infrastructure, better living standard, improvement in employment rate and a conducive atmosphere for business and financial transactions among others will be achieved.”
The former Lawmaker who also pointed out that economic and financial challenges have become a global phenomenon today, said Nigeria is lucky to have Senator Bola Tinubu at the helm of affairs to rejig and retool the economy to the path of prosperity.
He said many developed countries are also feeling the heat from different perspectives, adding that with the various palliatives being worked out for Nigerians, the temporary pains will soon be drastically cushioned and over.
