Ogun West Senator – Elect and the chairman, Senate Committee on Finance Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has felicitated with Muslims for witnessing the commencement of yet another Ramadan period.
The Senator urged all faithful to seize the opportunity of the holy month to pray for the smooth and effective take off of incoming administrations at state and federal level after the relatively peaceful 2023 General Elections in Nigeria.
Senator Adeola wished all Islamic faithful a successful fasting period adding that Allah should reward everyone with forgiveness and answer all heartfelt supplications during the fasting period.
The Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance said the true practice of Islamic religion that preaches peace, good neighbourliness, brotherly love and non violence evangelism should be further uphold during the holy month adding that all of us must continually pray for our nation to continue on the path of peace, unity and progress.
