The Anambra State Government has declared the ‘Anyanwu N’Awalu Ora’ chieftaincy title bestowed on the Minister of State for External Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, as fake from a fake traditional ruler.
The title was recently conferred on the former beauty queen at the prestigious Igu Aro Cultural Festival by His Majesty, Obi Austin Chukwuezugo Ndigwe (MON), the Eze Izu 111 of Awka, Anambra State.
However, in letter dated Wednesday, December 31, 2025 and addressed to Amb. Bianca Ojukwu by Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, the state government said that the “conditions” for conferment of chieftaincy titles in the state were not met regarding Mrs Ojukwu’s title.
The state government added that “Chief Austin C. Ndigwe IS NOT a traditional ruler in Awka or Anambra State. To put mildly, he is simply an impostor,” warning Bianca Ojukwu to “desist from addressing herself by any of such titles conferred by Mr. Austin Chukwuezugo Ndigwe.”
