Despite a restraining order from Federal High Court sitting in Kano, Governor Abba Yusuf has officially presented a letter of appointment to Muhammadu Sanusi II as the 16th Emir of Kano.
The ceremony took place at the Africa House of the Kano State Government House on Friday, May 24.
The Federal High Court in Kano had issued an injunction stopping the Reinstatement but Abba Yusuf – led went ahead and reinstated Sanusi.
