Amnesty International(AI) has launched a report detailing soaring cases of human rights violations of women over superstition and witchcraft accusations in North Ghana.
The report called “Branded for life: how witchcraft accusations lead to human rights violations of hundreds of women in North Ghana,” according to AI revealed the worrisome state of Ghana lacks of legislative framework to protect women against witchcraft accusations.
