Ogun State chapter of the ACCORD Party has felicitate the iconic Odole Oodua, Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu on his 90th birthday, describing him as a leader whose virtues straddle generations and boundaries.
A statement on Sunday by the ACCORD Party through its state chairman,Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael, joining the nation to celebrate the philanthropist and billionaire businessman, it stated that Adebutu, at 90, still continues to inspire generation after generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and benefactors.
According the state party, the remarkable great achievements of the nonagenarian are a testament to what a willful determination, a visionary foresight, and a generous heart can do.
The ACCORD Party added that Pa Adebutu’s role in the growth of Ogun State, especially in evolving leadership and programmes that empower the poor and underprivileged, cannot be overstated.
It also noted that his life remains a source of inspiration, integrity, and success to many, wishing him many more years of good health, success, and realized dreams.

As Sir Kessington Adebutu, the iconic Odole of Odua, turns 90, the entire membership of the ACCORD Party, Ogun State, under the leadership of Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael, celebrates with the nation, the man whose virtues straddle generations and boundaries. Known for his remarkable business acumen, benevolence, and commitment to Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole, Sir Adebutu towers high as a father, leader, and elder statesman.
Born in 1935, Sir Kessington Adebutu is not just renowned for his successful business career, particularly through his pioneering efforts in the lottery industry, but also for his admirable philanthropy that has impacted so many. His donations, both within Ogun State and well beyond it, are manifest in the many communities and organizations that have benefited from his generosity, whether in schools, healthcare, or the empowerment of the youth. And through the Kes0sington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation, he has, over the years, demonstrated a desire to pull others up with him, so that his achievements would be shared with the masses. And just recently, he donated the sum of N1Billion to each of Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Local Governments. And similar kindness was extended to his city — Iperu, for any project advancement, which the populace would want.
As a leader, Sir Adebutu has become a pillar of vision and wisdom, promoting many initiatives that have touched the socio-economic development of Ogun State. His very useful counsel and involvement in various sectors have made him a necessary individual in the development of our nation. His love for the development of Ogun State is justly appreciated by ACCORD Party, Ogun State, and it is with great respect that we honour him today.
