Chief Toyin Amuzu, the Asiwaju Leragun Egba, is a breath of fresh air in the world of politics. As a staunch member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP and with his mantra of service to the people and development to communities, he is changing the tide of politics in Abeokuta South Local Government.
Aside providing over twenty boreholes projects in various parts of Abeokuta South, he has donated many street lighting facilities to various communities in his bid to illuminate the areas and provide security for his people. Just recently, he registered one hundred businesses with the corporate affairs corporation, CAC, to empower the people and encourage entrepreneurial activities. Scholarships, free fuel support, medical and food support are some of the other ways by which he has touched his people just to mention a few.
Unlike many politicians who only remember their constituents every four years when they need votes, Chief Amuzu is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is constantly supporting and uplifting his people, regardless of whether it’s election time or not.
This commitment to serving others has put many politicians on their toes. They are beginning to realize that grandstanding and deceit will no longer be tolerated by the people.
Chief Amuzu’s sincerity and dedication to his community are qualities that set him apart from other politicians.
Through his foundation, the Toyin Amuzu Foundation, Chief Amuzu has been able to touch the lives of many people in his community. The foundation has provided food items, educational materials, and healthcare supplies to those in need. It has also sunk boreholes in several communities, providing clean water for the people.
Chief Amuzu’s passion for his community is evident in everything he does. He is a true leader who is committed to serving others. His mantra of service to the people and development to communities is not just a slogan, but a way of life.
