The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Ogun Central Zonal Commander, Dr. Olubori Sonde has described the relationship and collaboration on traffic management with other sisters agencies as a welcome development.
Commander Sonde stated this in the company of FRSC personnel and TRACE Ewekoro Division operatives while conducting an onsite inspection of the on-going road construction at Lakatabu, Lafarge Cement Company, along Lagos- Abeokuta Expressway.
He said that the traffic flow along the corridor has since improved, adding that Crane Burg Construction Company also supported the palliative work on the swampy area which helped ease traffic congestion.
“I want to thank everybody on this wonderful job we are doing here.TRACE partnership with FRSC and Crane Burg Construction Company on this corridor is working and I will like us to sustain the cooperation. Last time, there were reports of heavy traffic congestion in this area but through our efforts, there is free flow of traffic now,” he said.
The Zonal Commander admonished motorists in the area to always obey traffic rules and regulations to avert causing unnecessary gridlocks while the road construction last, saying, TRACE Corridor Commander for Ifo/ Ewekoro, Cdr. Oyebola Adetunji with his operatives and FRSC officials remained on site to monitor and manage the situation.
