President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday opened his defence and tendered copies of his educational qualifications from the Chicago State University before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in the petition by Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
President Tinubu tendered the academic records through his lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN).

He also submitted before the Court, a 2007 letter from the United States Embassy in Nigeria, absolving him of any criminal liability in the US, and the letter of request from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to the US Embassy.
