The Nigeria Police Force, Zone 5 Command Headquarters in Benin City, has declared two individuals wanted in connection with conspiracy and murder.
The suspects, identified as Christopher Nduka Odiakose and Leonard Happy are wanted in connection with the tragic loss of life in Otulu, Ogwashi-Uku, on December 24, 2024.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tijani A. Momoh, on behalf of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Arungwa Nwazue, the suspects are also accused of being members of a terror group responsible for creating unrest in Otulu, Ogwashi-Uku.
Consequently, the Police, acting on the authority of a warrant issued by the High Court of Justice in Benin City in Edo State, have launched a full-scale manhunt to bring the accused to justice.
Investigations revealed that on the eve of Christmas, a time of celebration and goodwill was ruptured by an incident of blooded- chilling múrder.
The two are said to be associates of one Francis Oduwanor, also called Francis Odiakose, who hails from Owere-Olubor in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Police have placed a handsome reward of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) on their heads.
Any individual or group providing information that leads to the arrest of either suspect gets the N500,000.
