The police in Ogun state have arrested a 25-year-old 500 Level Business Education undergraduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye Ogun State, Koya Ayodeji, for allegedly stàbbing his roommate, one Ayobami Ajayi.
A 21-year-old Ajayi, male and who is a third-year Mass Communication student of the same university was stàbbed in the lower abdomen, during what ought to be a negligible argument regarding disturbances arising from perceived noise in his room on January 21.
Koya reportedly told the police that he had cautioned the victim to reduce the level of noise disturbance from the room but he refused to heed.
It was learnt that in an ensuing argument, the suspect got angry, pulled a sharp object and stàbbed Ayodeji in his stomach.
The victim was rushed to the University Teaching Hospital(OOUTH) Sagamu where surgery was performed on him.
Sources close to the institution said the victim had been put in a stable condition while the suspect would be charged in court upon conclusion of the investigation,
