Seasoned broadcaster and university lecturer, Dr. Adekunle Alaye, has finally bowed out of Chrisland University, after a meritorious service of nine years.
Dr Alaye, who is one of the pioneer staff of the fast growing private university, today remains the only academic staff with the longest service year in the history of the school. He joined the university in August 2015 as the pioneer Acting Head of Department, Political Science and General Studies.
He has also acted in various academic and administrative capacities of the university which include being the pioneer Chairman Examination Committee of the defunct college of management sciences now College Arts, Management and Social Sciences (CAMASS), pioneer Student Staff adviser, pioneer Chairman Dress Code Committee, pioneer Chairman of Rapporteur Committee and many more. Given the first set of lecturers with zero students and two colleges at the time, it is worthy of note that Chrisland University, a very fast growing university under the leadership of ever promising and assiduous Vice Chancellor, Professor Chinendum Peace Babalola, it is today hitting three thousand students population in no time with five colleges, including the college of Law and Nursing.
